The app is designed to keep every trip within the rules: the right documents at the border, security checks recorded, the limits on cabotage and days in the EU tracked, and the operator licence records kept up to date.
How it will work

Documents checked before departure
Customs references, the GMR for UK border crossings and each driver’s entry permits are confirmed before the truck leaves.

Security checks recorded
At every stop on the way to the UK, the driver follows a guided security check, with timestamped photos kept as evidence.

Limits tracked on the move
Cabotage jobs and days spent in the Schengen area are counted as the trip goes, with a warning before any limit is reached.

Records ready for inspection
Walkaround checks, defect reports and tachograph downloads are stored and ready if DVSA or Border Force asks.

Customs references and documents for trips between the UK and the EU are collected before the truck reaches the port.

Prepares the Goods Movement Reference (GMR) needed for UK crossings and checks that EU drivers hold a valid UK ETA.

A guided vehicle security check at each stop, with photos and times recorded, helps protect hauliers from Border Force penalties.

Counts cabotage jobs and each UK driver’s days in the Schengen area, and warns before a limit is reached.

Daily walkaround checks and defect reports are done in the app and kept for the operator licence record.
